Each week we take a pontoon tour to visit beaver dams, an eagle’s nest, and watch for waterfowl. We usually spot common loons (there are over 250 on the lake), various species of ducks, blue herons, and turtles. Often we find a deer taking a drink near the shore. Rarely we spot a moose. The tour also provides a little history about our neighborhood.
